Helene C. Migala, President Emeritus (x3302)
Helene started with the Prudential Insurance Company in 1977, selling life and health insurance products. After 6 years, she founded an independent agency with a partner. After 12 successful years, she along with other partners started ProSource Financial, L.L.C. Helene’s motto is “Superior service will cement long-term relationships. Service is what sets us apart.” Helene has been the recipient of many industry awards and is well recognized in the Insurance Industry. Helene’s hobbies include golf, travel and her grandchildren. Helene resides in the northern suburbs with her husband, Dennis.

Leo J. Shapiro, President (x3315)
After graduating with a Masters degree from Virginia Tech, Leo’s career in the insurance and investment profession began in 1978. His initial years provided experience in medical underwriting and benefit plan design. His current specialties include Group Medical, Dental, Life, Disability, 401(k) and retirement plans. Leo is a lifelong resident of the Chicago area and now resides in the Northwest suburbs. Leo is married with four daughters. His hobbies include basketball, golf and motor sports.

Steven B. Foreman, Vice President (x3303)
Steve started his career in 1976 with the Prudential Insurance Company. After eight years, he realized his niche was in employee benefits and started his own agency. A year later, along with two partners, he formed Insurance Benefit Consultants, Ltd., a brokerage agency dedicated to employee benefit planning for all size companies. He is a founding partner of ProSource Financial, L.L.C. Steve, whose hobbies include all types of athletics, resides in Arlington Heights with his wife Michelle. His two daughters, Jennifer and Lindsey, are both teachers in Lake Zurich.

James E. Ryan, Vice President (x3306)
Jim has been in the insurance business since 1980. He started his career with Standard of America, winning the prestigious “Rookie of the Year” award. In 1987, he moved into independent brokerage, and is a founding partner of ProSource Financial, L.L.C. His expertise is in the area of employee benefits, with a focus on strategic planning for mid to large-size groups. Jim is the recipient of many industry awards, including the Illinois General Agents and Managers Associations “Man of the Year” award, is listed in the “Who’s Who Registry of Global Business Leaders”, and is a Notary Public. He is also a Colonel in the Commemorative Air Force. Jim prides himself on superior service, attention to detail and building long-term relationships with his clients. Jim is an avid musician and enjoys writing, recording and performing music is his spare time. He lives in Des Plaines with his wife, Katie. His two grown daughters, Kelly and Julie, are both elementary school teachers.

Richard G. Olund, Vice President (x3320)
Rick began his career in 1976. Prior to joining ProSource Financial, L.L.C., Rick was a benefits specialist with a major brokerage firm. He brings a wealth of experience in benefit planning and brokerage. He provides expertise in the following areas: Group Medical Plans, both fully insured and self funded; Group Dental Plans; Group Life and Voluntary Insurance Plans; Group Long and Short Term Disability Plans; Analysis of Managed Care Plans, including PPO, HMO, and Point-of-Service (POS) Plans; Health Savings Accounts and Health Reimbursement Arrangements; National Accounts with multiple locations; Key Person and Individual Life Insurance; Employee Assistance Programs; and Vision Plans. Rick is very active in church, music and family activities.

Peter J. Van Vuren, Vice President (x3313)
Pete has been in the Financial Services Industry since 1987, working with small to mid-size business owners and their employees. Pete has expertise in all areas of employee benefits, including Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Disability, Dental, 401(k) and Profit Sharing Plans, Business Continuation, and Fixed & Indexed Annuities. Pete’s business has grown over the years by his life-long philosophy “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” Pete and his wife Cyndee reside in Dyer, Indiana with their sons, Jacob Luke and Joseph Peter. His hobbies include golf, fishing, hunting, and whatever sport his boys are in at the time.

Paul J. Verkoulen, Vice President (x3324)
Paul has been in the Group Insurance business since 1986. He started his career as a Group Health Insurance Underwriter and managed an Underwriting Department for Washington National Insurance Company. Paul received his M.B.A. from Northwestern University J.L. Kellogg School of Management in 1994. His current specialties include Group Medical, Dental, Life, Short Term and Long Term Disability, and National Accounts with multiple locations. Paul prides himself on providing superior service and building long-term relationships with his clients. Paul is an avid reader and enjoys participating in all sports (especially golf). Paul, his wife Agata, daughter Sophie and son Charlie reside in Green Oaks, IL.

Phillip M. Algozino, Vice President (x3337)
Phil started his Insurance and Financial Products career in December 1980. Phil began his career with ProSource Financial, L.L.C. in June 2005. Prior to joining ProSource, Phil had been a Senior Marketing Executive with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois Chicago Metro Markets Group Benefits Division since February 1990. By the end of Phil’s career with Blue Cross Blue Shield, he left as a Regional Vice President managing four operations in three states. Phil provides experience in the following areas: Group Benefits on both a local and national basis; Group Medical Plans, both self insured and fully insured; Group Dental Plans; Group Life & Group Voluntary Life Plans; Group Long Term & Short Term Disability Plans; and holds Series 6, 63, and 26 Registered Principal Securities Licenses.

Henry T. Trevor, Senior Sales Executive (x3338)
Henry began his Employee Benefits career in 1984 with Benefit Trust Life. Henry then moved to Washington National Insurance Company and was part of the business acquired by Trustmark Life Insurance Company. Henry is an expert at financing health plans with many years of experience dealing with all types of funding arrangements: experience refund, retrospective premium plans, minimum premium, stop-loss and self funding. While at Trustmark, Henry helped develop health plans for many associations. Henry works with employer groups of all sizes and affinity organizations that bring health plans to their member firms. Henry received his M.B.A. from DePaul University in 1989. Henry’s specialties include Group Medical, Dental, Life and Voluntary Life Disability, and Long Term Care. Henry lives in Wilmette with his wife Colleen and their four children, Diane, Caitlyn, Emily and Henry.

Maria C. Gamino, Senior Sales Executive (x3331)
Maria is a 16 year seasoned employee benefits professional experienced in employer consultation and benefits strategy with in-depth knowledge of all aspects of the managed health care delivery system. Maria brings a well-rounded approach to everything she does. She specializes in implementing cost containment strategies such as HRAs, HSAs, and Wellness Programs with a strong focus on employee education. She recently joined ProSource where her current primary role, along with being a consultant, is the release of a web-based HR Assistance and Compliance portal that ProSource has invested in for their clients. Maria also excels in bilingual communication skills (Spanish), both written and verbal. She is a 1990 graduate of Northern Illinois University with a degree in Business Administration and Spanish Translation and has received further training in wellness program strategies through the Wellness Council of America. She enjoys many outdoor activities and resides in Westchester, Illinois.

Stephanie A. Shanahan, Senior Account Executive (x3317)
Stephanie has been in the Group Insurance business since 1997. She began her insurance career at Aetna and held a variety of positions there including Group Medicare Sales Representative, Small Business Account Manager, Key Account Manager, and Small Group Sales Manager. Prior to joining ProSource, Stephanie was a broker with a major agency. Her specialties include Group Medical, Dental, Life, Short Term Disability, HSAs and HRAs. Stephanie graduated from Indiana University with a degree in Finance. She lives in Libertyville with her husband and 2 children.

Dorothy Kosior, Account Manager (x3304)
Dorothy has been with ProSource since 1989. In that time, she has served as Account Manager for several Sales Executives. Dorothy has received countless testimonials and praise from her clients for her superior service. She is also a licensed broker. Dorothy lives near O’Hare with her husband, Tim. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening and camping with family and friends. She is an active member in both her church and the American Legion.

Wendy Stratton, Project Manager (x3325)
Wendy started at the company as our receptionist in 1990. Wendy is also a licensed broker. She is currently working on the new web-based client information center for the agency. Wendy lives in Genoa, IL with her husband, Tom and their 3 sons, Alex, Collin and Joshua. She is active in Cub Scouts at her son’s schools, and enjoys camping and vacationing with her family and friends.

Nancy Volpert, Office Manager (x3332)
In 1994, Nancy started at the company and has worked her way to the position she holds today. Nancy is ProSource’s Office Manager/Human Resource Generalist. She is also a licensed broker. Nancy lives in Chicago with her husband, Jim and son Clyde. Nancy is very active at her church, is an avid reader and runs a food pantry in the city.

Anne Puchta, Accounting Manager (X3335)
Anne has been with the company since 1988. Because of Anne’s attention to detail, she handles all of the accounting responsibilities for ProSource. Anne lives near O’Hare with her husband, Danny and their three children, Eddie, Amanda and Christopher. She is active in her church, and also likes gardening around her house when she is not going camping with her family and friends.

Peggy Jensen, Account Manager (x3322)
Peggy started with ProSource in 1997. In addition to her responsibilities as Account Manager Peggy also heads up our computer department. Peggy is a licensed broker. She received her Bachelor’s degree from Northern Illinois University. Peggy lives in Chicago with her husband, Jeff. When she is not in the office, she is studying Haganah, an Israeli self-defense method or designing clothes.

Stephanie Fox, Account Manager (x3307)
Stephanie started at ProSource in early 2002 as a receptionist. Since then she has become an Account Manager. She is also a licensed broker. Stephanie lives in Chicago with her family. She is currently a student at Wright College, working towards her Associates degree. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Cheryl Powrozek, Account Manager (x3314)
Cheryl joined the ProSource family in July 2004. She holds the title of Account Manager. She also assists in the Accounting and New Business Development Departments. Cheryl is also a licensed broker. Cheryl resides near O’Hare with her husband of 23 years and her teen-age daughter. In her free time, she enjoys boating, fishing, swimming and watching her daughter play sports. She also enjoys walking her dog, Zack.

Sarah Spence, Account Manager (x3305)
Sarah joined ProSource Financial in 2007 and holds the title of Account Manager. Sarah lives in Chicago with her partner, Alex. In her free time, she enjoys working out and spending activity-filled weekends with her large family.

Rosemary Aiello, Account Manager X3328)
Rosemary has been in the Insurance business for 9 years. She lived in Italy where she went to high school and graduated with an accounting degree. Rosemary also speaks & writes fluent Italian. She lives near O’Hare with her husband and 2 teenage kids, Katia and Gianni. In Rosemary’s free time she likes to read, listen to music and take long walks.

Rosa Hernandez, Assistant Account Manager (X3330)
Rosa joined the ProSource family in April of 2008. She received her Associates Degree in Graphic Design and Visual Communications. She also speaks fluent Spanish. Prior to ProSource, she dedicated seven years advancing her skills in communications and customer service. She believes that the key to success is "Will Power" and teaches her children that they can do anything in life. Rosa loves to learn new things, and she is looking forward to a fulfilling career at our company.

David Boddy, Operations Specialist (x3334)
David joined the ProSource family in 2006. David started his insurance career in 1996 with MetLife as an Account Specialist. In 2001, David moved to Aon Consulting, specializing in Employee Benefits Outsourcing and thereafter to a small Chicago Insurance Brokerage firm. He is a licensed broker and in his spare time enjoys music and cinema.

Kerry Motzny, Assistant Account Manager (x3301)
Kerry joined the ProSource family in 2005. Kerry has worked her way to her current position as Assistant Account Manager and also assists with many projects for the Sales Executives and Account Managers.

Justin McGrane, Assistant Account Manager (x3341)
Justin graduated from Northern Illinois University with a B.S. degree in Communications with an emphasis in Corporate/Organizational Communication. He also played soccer for NIU, where he was named captain his senior year and was All-Conference the last three years. He enjoys spending time with family and friends. College created some of the best times of his life, and now he believes he is prepared to take his competitive and free spirited mind to the next level to start his new career. He is extremely excited to be a part of the ProSource Financial Team.

Linda Anderson, Administrative Assistant (x3318)
Linda joined the ProSource family in 2007. Her position is the Administrative Assistant to the Accounting Manager, Anne Puchta. Linda resides in Oak Park with her husband David and four boys, Donovan, Devin, Deion, and Drew. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends as well as doing volunteer bible education work.

Kelly Moran, Receptionist (x3301)
Kelly started with ProSource in March of 2007. She received her Liberal Arts degree from Columbia College in Chicago and also has a background in figure skating and choreography. Kelly moonlights as a wardrobe designer and hair stylist and is passionate about creative writing, the fine arts and music.
